Wanting to make a big splash in a new market, Point Breeze Credit Union turned to Baskervill for help redesigning and amplifying its dialogue-banking model. The challenge? Packing in the latest technologies and service offerings Point Breeze members expect within just 2,500-SF. Point Breeze wanted to offer members a stimulating environment with calming spaces for hands-on support, quick transactions and testing out new service options–as well as more playful areas fit for less formal, collaborative care. Wooden planks and textured brick with sandy tones complement the glass-filled exterior. A touch of those elements is brought indoors, with a boardwalk-styled assembly of wooden planks running along the ceiling and a strip of seashell-inspired tile offsetting a row of boldly colored meeting rooms from the public spaces with technology-rich assistance pods. The crisp colors of each room act as a simple wayfinding tool for Point Breeze staff to quickly and comfortably direct members to the correct location.
