Baskervill’s design team transformed the original Monticello Ice Cream building into a French-inspired event space, working closely with the in-house MEP team to reconcile existing features, such as concrete beams at differing heights and bulky ground duct work (resolved with stylish custom coverings). The space features a movable partition and can be transformed to act as a prefunction space, revolving art gallery, double foyer, or event space. An elegant bar anchors the gallerie area, with mosaic tile, decorative lighting, and black factory-style glass partition details complementing pre-existing brick walls and concrete flooring for an industrial but chic effect. The venue also includes a full catering kitchen in the back of house.
