One of the nation’s busiest airport hotels, the San Francisco Airport Marriott Waterfront, recently underwent a major guestroom renovation. Baskervill provided interior design services for project, totaling 688 guestrooms and suites. The design team worked with ownership to develop three guestroom concepts, all incorporating Marriott’s new guestroom initiatives, that hotel guests were then invited to try out and critique. The final design showcases the property’s bayside locality in subtle artwork, color and materials selection, and design details, allowing the water views to shine. Modular furniture with flexible seating enables guests to customize the layout for their own specific needs during their stay. Fully upgraded bathrooms create a spa-like ambiance with walk-in showers and upgraded fixtures.
