Old Dominion University’s L.R. Hill Locker Room was completely renovated and reimagined for the future of Monarchs football. In partnership with Perkins&Will, the design team utilized the same 5,000-SF footprint of the existing locker room, consolidating the restroom and shower block to create space for state-of-the-art lockers with integrated ODU branding, lighting, and bench seating. Highlighted wall and ceiling elements reinforce team spirit. A 3,000-SF players lounge was added to the existing gym mezzanine to create player access to gathering space, snack areas, nap, and study zones. Flexible and high-tech, the space is primed for both recruitment and game day hype.
