Working with design/build contractor Branch Builds, Baskervill designed this five-story, 680-space parking deck for James Madison University. The deck, which sits along the campus’s northwest edge, incorporates cost- and construction-efficient precast panels and wall panels with inlaid brick to reflect the University’s existing aesthetic. The project incorporates a glass-backed elevator that doesn’t require a dedicated control room, which freed up space in the design typically reserved for such a use. Baskervill provided architectural and MEP engineering services for this project.
