As downtown Fredericksburg enhances its public spaces with a Riverfront Park and new retail opportunities, Baskervill was called upon to design a multifamily apartment building with retail space on the ground floor. The four-story development will contain 24 units, with a mix of studios, 1- and 2-bedroom layouts. The design nods to Fredericksburg’s historic past with wood textures—reminiscent of an original water mill—red brick, and industrial interior fixtures, while providing a fresh, high-end residential structure to an up-and-coming town. This project is currently in design.
