Interior Design

Originally constructed in 1913 as a hotel – Ronald Reagan was once a guest in the 1950s – the property had many lives in the ensuing century. Baskervill designers reimagined the property as a luxury destination offering 115 guest rooms, restaurant and bar, and rooftop lounge. The inspiration steering the design concept lies within its locale: Virginia. Sophisticated nods to the state’s identity are woven throughout the design story. Steel mirrors in the rooftop space reflect Virginia’s once-booming steel industry, while subtle references to leather, tobacco, and brick evoke equally defining points in history.
