Baskervill Announces 2021 Promotions

2021 promotions

Today Baskervill, a multi-disciplinary design firm, announces the promotion of three new associates and one new principal to its growing leadership team. Eric Haley, PE, CEM has been named Principal | Director of Engineering; Hannah Markham, CID, NCIDQ, LEED Green Associate, Brandon Hairston, and Lynden Garland, AIA, LEED AP, CDT have been named associates.

Eric Haley Principal

Eric Haley, PE, CEM is a mechanical engineer by education and training, and is based in Baskervill’s Richmond office. A licensed professional engineer in five states, Eric brings nearly 20 years of experience to his role leading Baskervill’s engineering team. Passionate about sustainable solutions and integrated design, he is a Certified Energy Manager and is actively engaged with the Association of Energy Engineers and ASHRAE, where he sits on the National Epidemic Task Force Education Subcommittee.  Eric holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.

Hannah Markham Associate

Hannah Markham, CID, NCIDQ, LEED Green Associate is a certified interior designer in Baskervill’s internationally-renowned hospitality studio and is based in Charlotte, North Carolina. This promotion follows an impressive 2020 for Hannah; her work on the AC Charlotte SouthPark was honored with a Gold Key Award for Excellence in Hospitality Design, her entry to Woodcraft Hospitality’s annual competition was awarded the grand-prize, and Interior Design magazine named her a Best of Year Rising Star honoree. Hannah has a B.S. in Interior Design from Auburn University.

Brandon Hairston Associate

Brandon Hairston is Baskervill’s Director of IT Operations and is based in the firm’s Richmond office. With over 15 years of IT experience, Brandon joined the firm in 2011 as an IT Specialist and now leads the firm’s IT department which supports four offices and over 125 users. Brandon is a veteran of the US Army and a graduate of American InterContinental University.

Lynden Garland Associate

Lynden Garland, AIA, LEED AP, CDT leads Baskervill’s healthcare studio and is based in the firm’s Richmond office. With over 20 years of experience as an architect across multiple specialties, Lynden uses his diverse background to achieve long-lasting relationships and stronger projects. Lynden is a founding board member of VA NOMA and a member of the prestigious Phi Beta Sigma fraternity. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Hampton University, a Master of Urban and Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia, and a Master of Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University.
