Ask. Listen. Give back.

This year brought innumerable challenges, hardship, and grief. But there is much for which we are grateful. That’s why we launched the 5% Ask – a firmwide initiative aimed at bettering our communities through meaningful engagement and contributions. With this program, we commit to contributing up to 5% of annual profits to non-profit organizations in our communities that directly impact children, education, and health and wellness through meaningful and inclusive programs.

This year, we’re proud to support three organizations close to our homes and hearts that share our commitment to helping communities thrive:

  • American Heart Association of Richmond in their mission to be a relentless force for longer, healthier lives with the goal of equitably increasing healthy life expectancy;
  • Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida in their mission to enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to reach their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens; and
  • N Street Village of Washington DC in their mission to empower homeless and low-income women in Washington, D.C. claim their highest quality of life through a broad spectrum of services, housing, and advocacy.

As we close out 2020, we’re Asking where we can contribute; Listening to our communities’ needs; and Creating change.

With gratitude and best wishes for 2021,
Team Baskervill
